Giulia Bernardini, Chief Curator of Wonder
Hello and thank you for stopping by.
I’m an Italian and American art historian and actor who grew up in Switzerland, Germany, the United States, France, Italy, England.
My passion for the languages, art, history, cultures, and cuisine of Europe and beyond comes from an early desire to better understand the places I encountered as a child and young adult. This, and my burning desire to share what I learn, led me to create Wonderfeast.
I majored in European Studies at Mount Holyoke College, and studied art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London and at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where I received a master’s in art history, taught in the humanities department for over fifteen years, and completed a second master’s in museum studies.
A regular guest lecturer at the Denver Art Museum and MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver) on Italian, French, and early 20th-century modern art, I’m currently back in Boulder, Colorado, after having spent the 2024-2025 school year in my native Rome with my husband, daughter, and their cranky dog.
I hope you’ll join me for a Wonderfeast experience! I look forward to meeting you.
